Overview
Gold Coast CALS is a one-day simulation and team-work focussed course on the management of the deteriorating cardiothoracic surgery patient.
We have a generous balance of lectures, practical sessions and graded simulations that suit all skill sets.
The course fee includes;

Some specific management and skills covered include ;
- Systematic assessment and management of the deteriorating patient
- The CALS Protocol
- Emergency re-sternotomy and internal cardiac massage and defibrillation
- Emergency pacing and pacemaker troubleshooting
