A two day course comprising of lectures, hands-on skills stations and tutorials taught by Intensive Care Specialists. This course is designed to prepare participants in the assessment and management of critically ill patients.

Target Audience:
• Junior doctors with limited ICU experience & senior ICU nurses
• Trainees in medicine, anaesthesia, surgery and emergency medicine
• This course qualifies as an Introductory Intensive Care Medicine Course for CICM trainees

Airway Management || Assessment of the Seriously Ill || Mechanical Ventilation
Respiratory Failure || Sepsis || Haemodynamic Monitoring
Transport || Trauma || Interpretation of ABGs
Acute Renal Failure || Shock || Neurological Emergencies
