11 - 13 February 2026

Adelaide, South Australia

Course Overview

The Course is based at Ayers House in the centre of Adelaide, with Hot Cases at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Flinders Medical Centre and Lyell McEwin Hospital. It is specifically aimed at trainees sitting for the CICM Fellowship Examination, and is strictly limited to those planning to sit the exam in 2026.
The Course runs for 3 days and has a very practical and interactive focus. It includes tutorials on the written examination, vivas and hot cases, as well as running mock examinations in each of these. All candidates will do trial hot cases at 2 different hospitals.
Please note that there is little didactic teaching, and the intention is not to teach core knowledge in intensive care medicine. The focus is very much on preparation for the exam, and so a significant degree of knowledge and exam practice is assumed prior to attending the course.

Registration cost: $1500

Applications open: 2 September 2025
