Overview

Instructor Course (3 days) includes one day instructor training and two days teaching with experienced Beyond BASIC Instructors. Covers teaching practical aspects of mechanical ventilation of critically ill patients for intermediate-senior Intensive Care trainees attending the Beyond BASIC Course. The course consists of course manual, brief clinically-based lectures, skill stations, e-learning and pre- and post-course test. Beyond BASIC Mechanical Ventilation Provider Course aims to teach practical aspects of mechanical ventilation of critically ill patients. It is primarily designed for intermediate-senior Intensive Care trainees, who should have an understanding of the basics of mechanical ventilation.
