John Hunter Intensive Care unit and the NSW State CICM Committee invite you to join us for the annual Newcastle ICU Trainee Education Day, where we focus on how to navigate the nontechnical aspects of ICU practice. There will be an opportunity the day before the Trainee Day to have your CV reviewed. This year we will also be hosting a Trainee Formal Project Presentation Evening as part of the program. A prize will be given to the best project presentation including free registration to the CICM ASM. Some of the topics of the day will include: - Workshop on how to give and receive feedback - The impact our work has on our patients, colleagues and ourselves - How to build lasting effective relationships with other specialties - How to get involved in overseas aid - Trainee forum and College update - Update on NSW industrial dispute Catering will be provided across both days.
