Course overview

Join us on 7 March 2025 at Rockingham General Hospital for the first WA Intensive Care Combined Education Day (WICCED) of 2025! We have planned a day of renal education targeted to CICM trainees. You will hear from both intensivist and non-intensivist specialists on AKI, CRRT and non-CRRT forms of dialysis, post-CRRT recovery and the latest evidence in CRRT. Importantly, we will also have a large proportion of the day dedicated to prescribing CRRT and the ins and outs of prescriptions for specific situations - think CRRT in patients with electrolyte derangements vs overdose vs sepsis vs severe fluid overload. Our goal is for you to leave feeling confident in prescribing CRRT individualised to your patient. You'll also learn how to perform a VEXUS scan.
