Hannah Wozniak
Professional Bio
Dr. med. Hannah Wozniak is a Clinical Associate at the Geneva University Hospitals, where she divides her time between clinical work and research in the Intensive Care Unit. After completing her medical training in Switzerland, she pursued a clinical and research fellowship at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada, focusing on long-term patient outcomes. Her research emphasizes improving patient-centred outcomes and long-term recovery for critically ill patients, with a special interest in sepsis and the role of gut microbiota in critical illness. She also explores the use of hypnosis in critical care practice, both for acute applications such as pain management and dyspnea, and as a tool to enhance long-term recovery by reducing post-intensive care syndrome (PICS).
