Course Overview
The Communications Course is a mandatory two-day program specifically designed to provide current CICM trainees with the skills required to communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues in the ICU setting.
The program includes planning and conducting family meetings, negotiating effectively with colleagues and maintaining respectful communication under pressure. Each day includes interactive role plays with professional actors.
The course is limited to 16 trainees per course date and the registration fee is $1485.00
